The story behind Dolce Paws Photography
It all started with a little westie named dolce
Dolce was my heart dog and my constant companion for 16 wonderful years. She was part of my everyday life—the little moments, the big moments, and everything in between.
When she passed, I found myself searching for a way to navigate the grief. I began spending time with shelter dogs and volunteering with a local rescue organization. Spending time with these amazing dogs helped me heal, but it also opened my eyes to just how many beautiful stories there are waiting to be told.
That’s when Dolce Paws Photography was born.
Dolce inspired me to pick up my camera and create something that could celebrate the incredible bond we share with our dogs. Because someday, we may wish we had one more photograph, one more expression, one more glimpse of the dog who meant everything to us.
Through my lens, I want to preserve the little things we so often wish we could hold onto forever, because our dogs' lives may be shorter than we wish, but their stories deserve to last a lifetime.
My Approach
My sessions are relaxed and centered around your dog.
Every dog is different, so every session is different. We’ll take our time, follow their lead, and create space for their true personality to come through.
Whether your pup is energetic and playful, shy and sensitive, or somewhere in between, there’s no right or wrong way for them to show up.
If your dog is happy to sit, stay, look at the camera, or settle into a beautiful spot, we’ll take advantage of those moments. But if they’d rather explore, move, sniff, or simply be themselves, we’ll follow that instead.
My goal is to create a well-rounded gallery filled with beautiful images you can treasure for years to come.
